Paper Submission Guidelines
- After registration, Participants who wish to send a paper to the III. International CBRN Congress will upload their abstracts at www.cbrn2024.afad.gov.tr Abstracts should be written in Turkish or English.
- Participants should specify how they wish to present their papers after they have choosed a topic (Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation)
- An acceptance email will be sent to the presenters after consideration of abstracts by science board.
- Abstracts will be published in the congress book.
- Papers not prepared in accordance with the submission guidelines will not be considered by the science board.
- Except title, abstracts of papers should not exceed max. 300 words. The abstracts of papers should include the “Aim”, “Method”, “Result” and “Discussion” sections.
- Margins on the all sides of the page, top, bottom, left and right should be 2.5 cm.
- The headline of the abstract of paper should be written in 12 point Times New Roman font, Bold, single line-spaced and left-aligned. Only the first letter of the headline should be written in capital letter.
- Name(s) and surname(s) of the author(s) should be written in one line after the headline. (Ranks, academic titles etc. should not be written) Name(s) of the author(s) should be written in 12 point Times New Roman font, Bold, single line-spaced and left-aligned. First letter(s) of name(s) and surname(s) of author(s) should be written in capital letter. After surname(s) of each presenter, institution(s) of author(s) should be indicated by using superscript numbers. Name and surname of the presenter should be underlined.
- Information(s) of author(s’) institution(s) should be written after a line of author(s)’ name(s) and surname(s). The information of institution should be written in 12 point Times New Roman font, Bold, single line-spaced and left-aligned.
- The text of abstract of paper should be written after a line of information of author’s institution. The text should be written in 12 point Times New Roman font, Bold, single line-spaced and justified. Headlines of “Aim”, “Method”, Result and “Discussion” should be written in “Bold”.
- Presenters may be upload the accepted papers at web site until 09.11.2024.
- Full-Text should not exceed max. 2000 words.
- Full-Text should be written accordance with the abstract guidelines.
- First line of the paragraph should be intended by 0.5 cm.
- Headlines in the full-texts should be written in 12 point Times New Roman font, Bold, single line-spaced and left-aligned. Only the first letter of headline should be written in capital letter.
- References where in the full-text of papers should be written in “APA 7th” format.
- Full-text will not be included footnote and page number.
- Poster dimensions will be max. 90x60 cm.
